Social Networking for Kids in Acting and Business (and their Parents)
I’m always amazed by parents who are willing to put in time drive their kids all over the place, but won’t actually put in real, hands-on time, roll up their sleeves, and take on social networking. There’s this mentality that the managers, agents and publicists should handle everything and the parent should just drive around, complain about how busy they are, and socialize. It’s CRAZY and it’s short-changing your kids.
I made this pretty general, but it applies even MORE for parents who think their kids are on their way. You need to be ready BEFORE that big exposure kicks in.
I’ll break it down a little and hopefully get some of the parents who are willing to give it a try or trying to figure out where to get started.
